We’re dry for April. Old hog in his bone dry 24” deep waller that holds water most of the year. The Filth coming out of the pond which is down 3 feet. Regretting not advancing the water retention land works I had planned. Have reduced cattle stocking rates in anticipation.

: Just getting in. 170 saplings in the ground, 120 today. Little wind burned, little sunburned and thankful. Harbor Freight auger banged out the holes in 3/4 tank of fuel. Even if I burn it up by the end of the job it earned it. I don’t expect this outcome.

I grill a couple times a week 365, over my charcoal. This was my uncles sweet corn and our beef brats. Not a sweet corn fan, not a frozen sweet corn fan. This was excellent. Framing, spring fever, maybe. Old pecan because I love her and she’s right there.
